Difference Between ASME SA53 and ASTM A106 Grade B Carbon Steel Tubes

Both the ASTM A106 Grade B and ASME SA53 tubes are used extensively in pressure and structural applications but are used for different purposes. ASTM A106 Grade B tubes are especially designed for high-temperature applications and are manufactured only for seamless type, providing excellent performance under heat, and pressure. ASME SA53 tubes, on the other hand are applicable for mechanical and pressure purposes and are produced in both seamless and welded types.
