Every fitting meet international standards like ASTM A815 and ASME B16.9 guaranteeing superior dimensional accuracy and mechanical performance. To meet the needs of their project, customers can request custom dimensions or select from a range of types and sizes. With the support of our ISO-certified quality management system, we guarantee on-time delivery, maintain ready stock and provide competitive pricing.
What are Super Duplex S32750 Buttweld Fittings?
Super Duplex S32750 Buttweld Fittings are welded parts that join or reroute super duplex steel pipes. Super Duplex Steel S32750 a ferritic austenitic stainless steel known for its balanced dual-phase microstructure used to make these fittings. The alloy primarily contains chromium, nickel, molybdenum, and nitrogen, which contribute to its structural integrity.
This grade maintains a stable ferrite-austenite structure throughout forming and fabrication processes. It supports common welding and forming techniques without losing mechanical consistency or dimensional accuracy. These fittings conform to ASTM A815 for wrought ferritic/austenitic stainless steel and ASME B16.9 for factory-made buttweld connections. Even after standard heat treatment, Super Duplex 2750 Buttweld Fittings retain their structural characteristics and are ready for integration into pressure-rated systems.
Advantages of Super Duplex Steel S32750 Buttweld Fittings
- A high concentration of chromium, nickel and molybdenum improves resistance to failure brought on by stress.
- Overall mechanical stability is enhanced by a dual phase ferritic austenitic microstructure.
- Maintains its dimensional stability even after extended exposure to heat.
- Retains toughness and grain structure following standard solution annealing.
- Non magnetic behaviour in annealed condition supports specialized service needs.
- Nitrogen stabilized structure refines phase balance and mechanical uniformity.

Manufacturing Process of Super Duplex S32750 Buttweld Fitting
The manufacturing process of Super Duplex S32750 buttweld fittings begins with selecting certified raw material that meets ASTM A815 S32750 standards. Band saws or CNC machines are used to cut the material into the necessary sizes while keeping strict tolerances. Depending on the size and type of fitting, the cut pieces are then heated and shaped using either hot forming or cold forming techniques. Fittings are solution-annealed at approximately 1100°C after forming, and then quickly quenched with water to regain their mechanical strength and resistance to corrosion.
Once cooled, the surface is cleaned using pickling or shot blasting to remove scale and improve finish. To make sure there are no cracks or flaws, each fitting is then subjected to dimension checks, a 100% visual inspection and non destructive testing such as Ultrasonic Testing (UT) or Dye Penetrant Testing (DPT). Before shipping, we also use PMI, hardness, and hydro tests to confirm the material’s characteristics.
