Manufacturing Process of Super Duplex S32760 Buttweld Fitting
The manufacturing process of Super Duplex S32760 buttweld fittings begins with selecting certified raw material that meets ASTM A815 S32760 standards. Band saws or CNC machines are used to cut the material into the necessary sizes while keeping strict tolerances. Depending on the size and type of fitting, the cut pieces are then heated and shaped using either hot forming or cold forming techniques. Fittings are solution-annealed at approximately 1100°C after forming, and then quickly quenched with water to regain their mechanical strength and resistance to corrosion.
Once cooled, the surface is cleaned using pickling or shot blasting to remove scale and improve finish. To make sure there are no cracks or flaws, each fitting is then subjected to dimension checks, a 100% visual inspection and non destructive testing such as Ultrasonic Testing (UT) or Dye Penetrant Testing (DPT). Before shipping, we also use PMI, hardness, and hydro tests to confirm the material’s characteristics.

Applications of UNS S32760 butt weld fittings
UNS S32760 butt weld fittings are widely used in industries where strong, long-lasting connections are needed. S32760 fittings for oil & gas pipelines handle high pressure, seawater, and corrosive fluids with ease. Chemical and petrochemical plants use it to resist strong acids and process chemicals. In power generation, they perform well under high heat and mechanical stress. Desalination plants use them in salt-heavy systems without worry of corrosion. In the pulp and paper industry, they stand up to harsh bleaching agents and mechanical wear, ensuring smooth flow and reliable connections.
With its headquarters located in India, Midland Alloys Inc. exports Super Duplex Steel UNS S32760 Buttweld Fittings to more than 35 nations. Due to the high demand for infrastructure and oil and gas, we continue to ship frequently to Gulf countries like the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman and Kuwait. With regular deliveries to Germany, the UK, France, and Italy, as well as increasing orders from the Asia-Pacific region which includes Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and South Korea, our export network is growing throughout Europe. With recurring exports to South Africa, Nigeria, Egypt, and Brazil, we’re also steadily expanding into Africa and Latin America. All fittings are packed using export-grade methods, backed by accurate customs paperwork and reliable port handling. We ensure fast delivery timelines, helping us build long-term ties with OEMs, EPC contractors, industrial distributors, and public-sector agencies worldwide.
ASTM A815 S32760 buttweld fittings vs Super Duplex Steel UNS S32750 Buttweld Fittings
ASTM A815 S32760 buttweld fittings and Super Duplex Steel UNS S32750 buttweld fittings are both made for tough environments, but S32760 offers slightly better performance in aggressive conditions. S32760 contains more tungsten and copper, giving it higher resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, especially in a chloride-rich environment. It also has better impact strength under low temperatures. While both have a balanced austenite-ferrite structure and meet ASTM A815 standards, S32760 is preferred for offshore and subsea applications where added corrosion resistance and strength are critical. S32750 works well in most similar applications, but with slightly lower PREN value and impact toughness.
