  • Strength and Durability: Resists tensile strength at high load and stress conditions and can be used for heavy-duty applications.
  • Corrosion Resistance: It is designed to resist oxidation under good coating and maintenance in diversified service conditions
  • Cost-Effectiveness: Offers more affordable material, and manufacturing costs without sacrificing mechanical properties.
  • Ease of Installation: Welding, threading and fitting procedures become easier by lightweight options like ERW pipes.
  • Versatility in Applications: Suitable for use, with a wide range of fluids, gases and structural arrangements.
  • Resistance to High Temperature and Pressure: Maintains mechanical stability in systems with high temperatures, and pressures.
  • Sustainability and Recyclability: Materials, that are completely recyclable and promote the development of sustainable infrastructure.
  • Standardization and Availability: It offers interchangeability, and ease of sourcing due to its standard sizes and grades.
  • Low Maintenance Requirements: Long service life with minimal upkeep under standard operating environments.
  • Global Acceptance and Industry Standards: Manufactured as per international norms like ASTM, ASME, and DIN, ensuring global compatibility.
Specification Carbon Steel Pipe
Difference Between Carbon Steel Pipe and Mild Steel Pipe
Carbon steel and mild steel pipes differ mainly in their carbon content and mechanical properties. Carbon steel has between 0.25% and 2.1% carbon content, making it stronger, harder, and more resistant to wear compared to mild steel, which contains less than 0.25% carbon. The increased content of carbon in carbon steel increases its tensile strength, durability, and resistance to high pressure and mechanical stress, making it suitable for rigorous structural and industrial uses. However, the increased carbon also reduces its ductility and weldability. Mild steel, on the other hand, remains more flexible, easier to weld, and better suited for applications that require good formability and ease of fabrication. Mild steel can be found in general construction, automotive frames, and light fabrication. Where strength and durability are required, carbon steel is used in pressure systems, power plants, oil and gas and machinery.
