What Is Super Duplex Steel UNS S32750?
Super Duplex Steel UNS S32750 is a tough, high-grade stainless steel made for harsh conditions. This saf 2507 dual-phase alloy fights off chloride stress corrosion, pitting, and crevice corrosion better than most steels. It has higher levels of chromium, molybdenum, nickel, and nitrogen that enhance its performance. UNS S32750 stainless steel offers twice the strength of regular 300-series stainless steels. It comes under the ASTM A790 super duplex material standard which make it reliable for demanding environments.
Key Strengths of UNS S32750 Pipes
- Resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion, even in salty or harsh conditions.
- The dual-phase structure enhances fatigue strength and crack resistance.
- Can withstand pressure cycles and aggressive media without breaking.
- Low thermal expansion improves weld integrity and pipe alignment.
- A stable microstructure ensure long term performance under stress.
- Easy to fabricate with tight tolerance control in complex assemblies.
- Super duplex S32750 pipe strengths lead to longer service life and fewer shutdowns.

Manufacturing Process of Super Duplex Stainless Steel S32750 Pipes
The S32750 pipe manufacturing process starts with alloy billets or plates made with precise levels of chromium, molybdenum, nickel, and nitrogen. These raw materials are chosen for their stability and performance under pressure and corrosion.
For seamless pipes, the process begins with hot extrusion or rotary piercing, where the billet is pierced and formed into a rough tube. It is then cold-reduced using drawing or pilgering to reach accurate dimensions and improve surface finish. For welded pipes, duplex steel coils or plates are formed into pipe shape and welded—typically using TIG or MIG methods. Weld beads are removed with automated tools for a smooth finish. All pipes are then solution annealed to lock in the duplex structure and remove stress from forming. After that, pipes go through straightening and light calibration to meet ASTM A790 size tolerances. The finished pipes are visually inspected and undergoes testing or final surface finishing, depending on the order.

Applications of Super Duplex Steel S32750 Pipes
Super Duplex UNS S32750 pipes are built for extreme-service environments. These pipes are used in oil and gas industry for offshore platforms and subsea pipelines. In desalination plants, they withstand seawater and high chloride levels. Petrochemical and chemical industries uses for handling aggressive fluids and high temperatures. These pipes are used in power plants as heat exchangers and condensers. In marine engineering, they support shipbuilding and ballast systems. Even pulp and paper mills use UNS S32750 pipes to deal with harsh chemicals. The uses of UNS S32750 pipes span across systems that need reliability, fewer shutdowns, and long service life.
The S32750 pipe price per kg in India usually ranges from ₹300 to ₹450, depending on several factors. Since super duplex UNS S32750 is a high-alloy grade with excellent corrosion resistance, it comes at a premium. Prices vary based on type (seamless or welded), size, wall thickness, surface finish and end type. Polished pipes, custom lengths, and third-party inspections can raise the cost. Order quantity and project location also affect the final rate. Because duplex stainless steel pipe price in India depends on raw material rates like nickel and molybdenum, pipe rates may change. Contact us directly for accurate pricing.
All Super Duplex S32750 pipes are quality checked to meet ASTM A790 / ASME SA790 standards. Each pipe is subjected to non-destructive testing, such as ultrasonic testing (UT), radiographic testing (RT), dye penetrant testing (DPT) and magnetic particle inspection (MPI). On request, mechanical tests such as tensile, hardness, flattening, and bend tests are also performed. Positive Material Identification (PMI) and spectro analysis confirm that the alloy content is accurate. We provide full super duplex 2507 pipe certifications, including Mill Test Certificates (EN 10204 3.1 / 3.2) and third-party approvals from BV, TUV, DNV, or SGS. We ensure to meet S32750 pipe testing standards, full traceability, and NORSOK, PED, and NACE MR0175 when needed.
Surface Finishes & Customization Options for Super Duplex S32750 Pipes
We provide a range of surface finishes and custom options for Super Duplex S32750 pipes to meet both industrial and visual needs. We offer standard mill finishes, pickled and passivated pipes for sensitive systems, brushed No.4 finishes for clean surface requirements, and mirror polish for aesthetic or hygienic use. As a trusted mirror polished 2507 pipe manufacturer, we also support customization needs. This includes cut to size S32750 pipes, non-standard outer or inner diameters, custom pipe ends like plain, beveled, or threaded, and U-bent pipes for heat exchanger applications.
