- Stainless Steel 316Ti Pipes
Stainless Steel 316Ti Pipes are high-strength pipes made with titanium-stabilized austenitic stainless steel. They provide exceptional corrosion resistance, particularly in environments with high temperatures and chloride-rich environments. Midland Alloys Inc. is a trusted manufacturer and supplier of Stainless Steel 316Ti Pipes, including seamless, welded, ERW, and fabricated types. These pipes are also known as SS 1.4571, have around 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, 2–3% molybdenum, and up to 0.7% titanium, which helps boost strength and corrosion resistance. With an austenitic structure, these pipes meet standards like ASTM A312, A213 and DIN 17456. As one of the leading stainless steel 316Ti pipe manufacturers, we ensure top-quality materials for demanding industries.
Key benefits of ASTM A312 stainless steel 316ti seamless pipe
- 316Ti seamless pipes resist corrosion in acidic and chloride-rich environments.
- They hold up well under high pressure and mechanical stress. Their titanium-stabilized structure prevents cracking over time.
- These pipes perform reliably in high-temperature settings. They retain strength and stability even up to 870°C.
- 316Ti pipes require little upkeep and resist rust and scaling, reducing the need for frequent repairs or replacements.
- Made from recyclable stainless steel, these pipes support eco-friendly projects. Their long life also reduces material waste.

Applications of 316Ti stainless steel pipe
Difference between austenitic grade 316ti stainless steel pipe vs 316 stainless steel pipe
316Ti stainless steel pipe and 316 stainless steel pipe both belong to the austenitic family, offering good corrosion resistance and strength. The main difference is the addition of titanium in 316Ti, around 0.5%, which stabilizes the structure at high temperatures. This makes sus 316ti pipes better for heat-sensitive applications like pressure vessels and exhaust lines. It prevents carbide precipitation during welding which keeps the grain structure intact and stops corrosion at the weld zone. 316 doesn’t have this protection, so it may weaken or corrode faster when exposed to high heat or repeated welding. For long-term use in hot, harsh conditions, 316Ti holds up better without losing strength or forming cracks.

FAQ
The titanium in 316Ti keeps the material strong, and resistant to corrosion under heat stress by preventing the formation of carbide at high temperatures.
Yes, 316Ti pipes are highly weldable. The titanium stabilizer helps avoid weld decay, making them ideal for repeated welding jobs.
Common finishes include polished, pickled, and bright annealed, depending on application needs like hygiene or appearance.
